PayPal will temporarily suspend the UK cryptocurrency buying feature starting October 1, 2023, and will resume in early 2024.

PayPal has announced that it is suspending the purchase of cryptocurrencies due to the introduction of new rules from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). These rules will require PayPal to "complete additional steps before customers can purchase cryptocurrencies."
