Ingang is currently developed as Twitter, but totally with wallet login, you don’t need to register an account, but the way to login is also limited, you must have Metamask extension in your browser, and currently not support login with mobile version.
You can publish what you want to say, and like messages. The following user and comment system is under developing.
Metamask browser version support others sending a message that can only be decrypted by the address owner, so Ingang send an encrypted message to you, this message include a key that both sides can use it to encrypt and decrypt, every time user login, this key will renew, so this can make sure that the message received and send is only for the address owner. To send message that can only be decrypted by address owner, I need to get your EncryptionPublicKey use this function , so as your first time login, it will ask you to provide the encryption public key, this is not even your public key of you ETH account.
The Ingang does not track you any data, all information comes from your Metamask address, you don’t need to worry about traditional privacy problems.
The current goal of Ingang, to encourage good content producers come to publish valuable information. Every month income from the advertisement will directly send ETH to the top producers, the proportion and distribution is still under consideration, but now I think it should be more than 50% of profit every year.
Also after Ingang grown up ( I hope it could be : ), it can run as Substack or some other profitable business to support it running.
Currently, user following function is under development. It should be release soon.
Next step will be upload content to system like Arweave or IPFS, I am still learning how it works and how to implement this. Since upload content to this kind of system is expensive, which content to be uploaded will be selected by rule, not by people, for example, if user address is new or asset is under 100 USD, it’s content can only send to IPFS 1Mb every week, unless it become top generator once. But all this is still under consideration. This is just a framework I am thinking about, this is a trade off between open security and cost.
After this, it should be to do some job as address analysis, the main page content will recommend depends on the user address, this will be a big job.
Following system is somehow working now, next is redesign the UI
New UI deployed, next step is add function of nickname.
Now content can be uploaded to Arweave, but it is not automaticlly, I will upload them periodically.
