EOS founder BM returns to work on EOS development

On January 21, the EOS community hopes to correct its own mistakes by re-establishing technical ties with EOS founder Dan Larimer (BM), who has designed the Mandel hard fork. In return, the EOS Network Foundation (ENF) will pay grants in the form of EOS Tokens to fund the development of BM. Larimer’s Mandel upgrade is a hard fork, and if adopted by validators in Q2, the EOS Network Foundation will effectively control the EOS codebase and thus the network’s seat of power. Earlier on January 10, 2021, Block.one Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Dan Larimer (BM) announced on the HIVE blog that he had resigned as Block.one Chief Technology Officer.
