Almost 315, standardized in action — standards for better consumption

Introduction: In 2021, the General Directorate of Market Regulation (SMC) took seriously the requirements set out in the National Framework for Standardization Development for improving standards for expanding domestic demand, continuously upgrading standards and quality of consumer goods, strengthening the role of standard-leadings, rapid health development of new business models for new products, and reassuring consumer consumption.

Standards for greener consumption

In 2021, the “green” exhibition, “green” catering developed national standards on the basis of the in-depth implementation of national standards for household appliances such as electric refrigerators, air conditioners and laundry machines. As of now, we have developed 19 national standards for evaluating green products, setting out clear requirements for resource attributes, energy attributes, environmental attributes and attributes marked “green products”. In the area of services, standards such as green logistics, green fairs, green packaging, green business yards have been introduced. The “green” standard system, which covers all areas of consumption and the whole chain, has been developed from focus products, focus areas and focus segments, allowing people to be guided and accountable in their pursuit of ecological civilized lifestyles and green consumption.

Standard making life more smart

In order to adapt to the trend of deep integration of new technologies such as manual intelligence, robbers and consumables, the Directorate-General for Market Regulation (CMS) has expedited the development of new standards such as smart air conditioning, home-based electricity, home robbers, service robbers, etc. to help new products move into the life of the population. These standards not only regulate the quality safety of intelligent products from multiple perspectives of product electrical safety, mechanical safety, reliability, use performance, personal information protection, but also provide a scientific definition of “intellectuality” to fully leverage standards for sound and orderly industrial development.

Criteria for more comfortable experience

New versions of national standards have been issued for a number of commonly used consumer goods, such as booths, coltan, plumbing, bed supplies, original batteries, etc. Not only is there a higher demand for product quality safety, the upgrading of products, the introduction of efficiency gains in the lead industry, the streamlining of standard provisions and specific requirements in terms of increasing consumption experience, the enrichment of consumer goods, optimizing consumption experience and boosting consumer confidence.

In 2021, the Directorate-General for Market Regulation, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism jointly issued the Opinion on the Standardized Promotion of Catering Savings against Catering Waste, proposing eight specific standardized initiatives. Three national standards, such as supply chain management in the catering industry and the description of information on the sale of food products, regulate the supply chain management requirements for the entire process of the purchase, processing, production, logistics, marketing, etc. of raw materials for the catering industry, address the painstaking point of the selling point, which is “in-kind” to allow consumers to give reasonable food, understand consumption and avoid waste.

Standards for better consumption

In 2021, our business standard “sumptioners” system was implemented in depth, and in 202 focus areas such as agriculture, consumer goods, equipment manufacturing, emerging industries and services, more than 1,300 standards accumulated by more than 800 enterprises were included in the enterprise standard “sumptioners” list, where consumer goods accounted for prominently, so that the “data platform + two-dimensional” displays the comparative results of standards, product indicators and runrs’ indicators, thereby facilitating consumer selection. Intensify the bidding activities to guide 42,000 enterprises throughout the country, with the cumulative release of more than 97,000 markers, covering 1379 product and service doors, such as garments, low-pressure switching equipment, furniture, etc., stimulating business innovation, stimulating industrial innovation, continuously promoting product and service upgrading, and making consumption more quality and better.
