Coming to grips with my own mortality
They could be coming at me without just cause
Just because I was born the way I am
The feeling sad to say isn't new to me
It’s one I have had my whole live
The fear sets in once again
The hatred felt so strong
Without cause
Or reason
Just blind
Where is the love
Compassion
Choosing to see our best in others
Uplifting

The AMA (Ask Me Anything) is now in session for the /bigenergy fam! Please feel free to leave your questions below this post. Do me a favor and if you see somebody else has asked the question to check it out first. I understand when it comes to long threads it can be a little bit intense. I am extremely excited to take this time and be able to chat with y'all. My crazy knowledge is from all over the place so thank you so much. There is also a fan art contest on the way so keep your eyes open!

Hey fam wassup🖤 So what was your very first medium and how you feel today thinking about your firts piece?
The "first" medium that I can as a child or "adult" TBH it'd been so long. I'm curious what my first actual piece was. As a child I painted on premade clay pieced, finger painted to create artwork and of course my crowning achievement that got recognized in about first grade was a felt clown with a flower that shot water it was all 2D cutouts yet the teacher was so impressed it was put up for a class exhibit. As I grew my parents found outside classes so I could learn to paint and use acrylics. We had images as references and I still love the feeling of cleaning brushes its a dirty job yet the paint is so squishy. When I got to high school all I wanted to do was take photographs and was so lucky to be in the age of the darkroom era.
Aww this is so sick fam🫠🖤 You’ve been creating since forever so cool✨🫂
You've been an artist for over 3 decades Beautiful Do you feel art in general has lost its value over the years? If yes, can you give your 2 cents on this... especially from your experience :)

what device / software do you use for making your art?
For my AI, digital paintings, photography or other?
Roughly for everything, do you do that at home? What kind of equipment do you have?
How do you decide which medium to use for each project
Since I tend to do AI it's more when the mood strikes to switch things up or I acquire more materials I want to play with. Painting and charcol takes the most prep work and thought behind when and where.
Your work is very unique and I think it is full of philosophical meaning, sometimes I find it difficult to understand the meaning behind it, what inspired you to create this work?

Thank you for your response, so I now understand how it inspires you.
an advice for an aspiring artist
Continue to create and practice every day. We are all artists since we create in every breath we take. Test out different waters and be able to remember to always hold onto the sense of play.
Somehow today is the first time your work has surfaced on FC for me (I’m prob not the only one though…), it’s really stellar! It appears to me that your AI art is pretty complex, lots of detail, even in the background and “minor” subjects. Does it require a lot of prompt iteration to get what you want from the AI? How has your technique changed from when you first started working with AI until now?
Learning how to manipulate the prompts especially when I constantly hit roadblocks with Dalle GPT 4o+ which is my main go-to these days; it's learning how to trick them into utilizing the prompt and working hard to keep it as close as possible. Sometimes it takes one go others it will be multiple generations. Using outside programs like Photoshop for fixing the miner stuff yet when it comes to faces I learned early on that a good one can make the image and you work outwards from there. I am 10000% a maximalist and even in my IRL images there is so much going on in each piece from the detailing that I try to have that inside my AI as well giving it more of my personal touch. I have been so lucky to have been in on these technologies for over 3+ years and have grown my experience alongside their changing code.
Awesome answer, thank you!! And thank you for your art! Glad you were featured today so I could start following you :) 20 $degen
After 3 decades of being an artiste what would you say you still struggle with the most when it comes to making art ?
Marketing is more of my challenge than creating the artwork itself. When it comes to making art and getting blocked I have so many outlets from asking friends and fellow creators to revisiting my old prompts. I even go to EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) Tapping and Meditation if needed as well. Or I will pick up the tool in my other hand and continue to see if a change in perspective can shed new light on the situation.
You’ve acquired so much experience over the years to always create regardless of how you’re feeling at the point, love it Have you found any effective marketing strategy yet or you’re still trying yo figure it out ?
What’s your creative process like ? Do you always just have an idea of what you want to create or you most times just go with the flow
Unless I create characters esp for my D&D|RPG obsession or more things from life that I have a way or end goal I tend to go with the flow. If you see most of my artwork I have been minting all month I have the concepts in my mind and text if I want it for the AI to generate or I hope for spaces to write in the words. I become an itteration and generation machine until I come accross that eureka moment and find that piece to spark the story.
