Opt-In

You are an intelligent human being. You’ve learned so many things throughout your life. Sitting on a stoop under the Hamilton marquee near broadway and time square, I’m recounting all the blunders in my life and what I learned. Most were the hard way, less the easier. I may have discovered the right action to take from the experience, but I didn’t opt-in to make those changes in my life necessary to see the growth I envision in myself. Don’t get caught in the rut. It happens. Remember, if you want to see that incremental improvement, it all starts with one act that turns into a pattern, then becomes habitual. You’ve made that change. What is the goal? What do you see for yourself? Don’t be vague; tell the infinite intelligence what you want. Then perform that action today. Don’t wait. Do it now. Carpe Diem!

“Formal education is not nearly as important as an unquenchable thirst to learn.”
