Thanksgiving is a month away for those living in the US, and while I don’t particularly celebrate it, my folks do. Growing up Thanksgiving also meant birthday celebrations for me, and this year I plan to celebrate by releasing a very special NFT (or Crypto-art if you prefer that term) collection titled “Modèle”.

The title is the French word for sitter and signifies an ongoing body of portraits painted of friends, relatives and others I’ve met through my travels, spanning from 2018 - present. This means that every piece in the collection was created with the subject directly in front of me.

This collection will be minted on a ERC-1155 contract which will include 1/1 and multi-edition pieces. Some of the utility of this collection will include the opportunity for the collector to claim a virtual or physical life painting session with me, depending on the piece purchased. After the session that artwork will then be minted and added to the collection, adding to the focus of this series being an ongoing body of work.

Some of the mediums and materials used are acrylic, oil paint, canvas, acrylic and oil paper. Additional rewards will include exclusive physical artwork for holders and more, which will be announced later as we draw closer to the collection release.
