Artificial Intelligence Vs Us
Why artists and writers don't need to fear it.It's coming for our jobs!! One of the most recognisable and made-fun-of-catch cries in history, thanks to South Park. First, it was the women, then the immigrants, then computers, robots, self serve checkouts. But, unfortunately, some small-minded people are still scared of pretty much every single one of those coming to take their jobs. Some are justified in their fears because they suck at their job. Spend too much time complaining abo...
Blood in the streets of DeSo
https://jdarmstrong.substack.com/ Many of us woke to blood on the streets on the 11th/12th of January. The creator fund had finally sold much of its holdings in creator coin, and the fact is, no one can blame them. This excerpt from Mario Nawfal’s post on the day says a fair bit - “Today the team liquidated the holdings of our investors who all opted to exit creator coins due to the plethora of rug pulls. While I did not fully agree with their decision, I do understand it, and of course, I ha...

The Day I Died
I see the truck bearing down on us out of the corner of my eye, I consider dropping our weight to my right, dropping down a few gears, and really opening that throttle up, red-lining the girl in an attempt to getaway. I had just gotten home from work, my fiance of 10 days was almost ready. I’d said we would go somewhere for a drink and a bite to eat, as well as swinging by one of my offsite warehouses. I really didn’t want to though, I just wanted to lay down after a full-on day. I averaged 3...

Well, first off I got to sleep all the way through last night. So that's a win as it seems to be a rare event for parents. I woke around 6 am, however, I'm not quite at the point of getting up that early to take advantage of Keegan still being asleep.
So we both woke up at 8 am. Played the thirsty mozzie tickle game for about half an hour. Then we played the "Daddy going to get up, quick cuddle him and then push with my little legs as hard as I can so as to push daddy back onto the bed" game. I need a shorter title for that game. It's a variation of his "attack hugs" game.
9 am and I finally got his TV show going, The ABC one... again. Seriously, I catch myself singing it at random points during the day. Okay, he has Milo in hand, singing ABC. I'm off, it's cold shower time... oooh, something shiny. Now it's 9:15 and he's come to find me. oh crap... focus.
So I set him up with some other nursery singalongs that he likes and I dive in the cold shower. It's 15 degrees, apparently. Today I lasted what felt like a lot longer. 1 min 15 sec. A whole ten seconds longer. The theory of relativity comes to mind.
Nothing else to report, except I can confirm two things. One, it certainly helps you wake up a bit. Two, it's fucking cold. At this rate, I might get to 5 min in a month! lol
