Over the past few months, in particular, the marketing team at RDX Works has morphed into a really high-performing, high-achieving entity. It’s been wonderful to watch it happen.

I’ve become increasingly fascinated by the elements of what contributes to high-performing teams.

You certainly need the infrastructure, both technical and knowledge (e.g. templates for briefs and disaster recovery docs). You also need a solid vision and strategy and a way to drive them (OKRs).

But the secret sauce is the invisible DNA strands that allow people to feel comfortable and trusting of each other.

It’s also great when people know their own superpowers (everyone has one) and when others see it in them.

I’ve learned a ton about team-building recently and it’s been very rewarding.
