2022 has been a terrible year. On hindsight, I definitely could have done better by having in place a more prudent portfolio management framework. However, I am thankful that I survived the major capitulations and took away many learnings from all the painful mistakes I have made.
To me, crypto is not just a new technology with huge upside for investment. I strongly believe in the value of decentralization that crypto can bring for our future - increasing the transparency of daily business operations, allowing direct value creation between parties without the need of intermediaries, improving trust in digital workflows, facilitating fairer distribution of power and wealth within the community, protecting the self sovereignty of our digital identities, and many more.
2023 will be a year of fear and uncertainty, or rather a year of hope and opportunity. This will be a crucial year to reassess our investment strategies and theses. In times of fear, it is also the best time to identify projects that are grossly undervalued and double down on them, within your own financial capabilities of course.
