The Jigstack DAO: 1st pilot epoch

After many months of research, analysis, and careful consideration, the Jigstack team has made the exciting decision to move forward with launching its very first DAO pilot program.

The team is confident that this new endeavor will be an incredible success, bringing innovation and cutting-edge technology to the forefront of the industry.
In order to ensure a smooth launch, the team has decided to bootstrap the start of the Jigstack DAO with a substantial amount of STAK tokens - a total of ~80 million tokens, to be exact - taken from the OPS funds.

This bold move by the team is a clear indication of their strong commitment to excellence and unwavering dedication. In order to further support this commitment, the team has created two important means:

1st DAO bootstrapping

Launching a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) is a complex and demanding mission that requires a considerable amount of attention and commitment. The initial step involves organizing and building all the foundational layers of the DAO, which is a critical stage. However, it is not enough to simply launch the DAO; economic incentives are also required to maintain its activity and encourage proactive participation from members.

To help launch this phase successfully, the Jigstack team has allocated a fund of STAK 80,039,998.

These funds are intended to create the basis of the DAO and initiate its operation according to a community-driven model. To achieve this goal, the DAO will offer bounties that incentivize community members to actively participate in various activities such as development, marketing, and business development.

In addition to this, it is important to note that launching a DAO involves a series of challenges that need to be addressed in order to ensure its long-term success. One of the primary challenges is ensuring that the DAO is able to maintain its activity and engagement levels, which can be accomplished by implementing effective economic incentives and a governance structure that is inclusive and responsive to the needs of its members.

Moreover, as the DAO evolves and expands, it will require continuous improvements and upgrades to remain competitive and relevant in the market. This will require a high level of innovation and collaboration from community members, who will need to work together to identify new opportunities, develop new ideas, and implement new strategies to achieve the DAO's objectives.

Therefore, launching a DAO is not just a one-time event but an ongoing process that requires constant attention and effort from all members. However, with the right approach and a shared commitment to success, a DAO has the potential to revolutionize the way organizations are managed and operated, creating a more transparent, efficient, and democratic model for the future.

The current allocation for the formation of the DAO is 80,039,998,039999 STAK divided as follows:

  • 60,000,000 STAK in 12-month linear vesting for DAO management.
    These funds will be used to reward the creation of the DAO model and its management in the first 12 months.

  • 20'039'998.039999 STAK for the first 3 months in order to introduce the first community activities and bootstrap the first level of the Jigstack DAO.

It is important to note that the allocation of funds is a critical aspect of any DAO project. The Jigstack team has carefully considered how to allocate these resources to ensure the successful launch of the DAO. The 60 million STAK set aside for DAO management over 12 months is a significant amount of resources that will be used to reward the hard work and dedication of the team that created the DAO model. Additionally, the 20 million STAK set aside for the first 3 months will be used to introduce the first activities and bootstrap the first level of the Jigstack DAO.

The allocation of funds is just one of the many important decisions that must be made when creating a DAO. Other factors such as governance, decision-making processes, and community involvement will also play a critical role in the success of the DAO. The Jigstack team is committed to ensuring that all aspects of the DAO are carefully considered and implemented to create a successful and sustainable project that benefits all stakeholders involved.

1st Pilot Program

The 1st Pilot Program represents the initial stage of a community-driven model for Jigstack products, and the success of this experimental phase will pave the way for future phases and epochs.

During this phase, we will work to establish a solid foundation for the DAO and jSTAK, including the development of future phases and epochs, STAK token allocations, and distribution methods. The goal is to create a system that is transparent and easy to use for our community members.

The first DAO base will be established once this phase is complete, and we will continue to work with the community to ensure that the base is strong and stable. We will work to gather feedback from both the community and our team to determine the success of the first epoch.

As this is a pilot program, whether it is successful or not will define future eras of this DAO model.

If we receive positive feedback and determine that the first epoch was successful, we will move forward with subsequent epochs. These will build on the foundation that we established during the 1st Pilot Program and will continue to be community-driven and transparent.
