During the “14th five year plan” period, Hunan Province plans to assist in the construction of 11 projects of the 221st regiment, with an estimated total investment of 76.5 million yuan. Compared with the “13th five year plan” period, the number of planned assistance projects increases by 3 and the capital increases by 13.89 million yuan. In 2021, Yiyang City team won the funds from outside the plan to aid Xinjiang and integrated the remaining funds of 14.4646 million yuan during the 13th Five Year Plan period, launched seven unplanned projects, and solved the problem of “urgent difficulties and expectations” of some League workers.

Vigorously carry out investment promotion and promote the implementation of projects in Xinjiang. Relying on the “Xiangjiang” industrial park of Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone of BINGTUAN, Yiyang City team vigorously carried out investment promotion activities. In 2021, members of Yiyang task force successively went to Beijing, Hunan Province and Jiangsu Province to carry out investment promotion activities, contacted 43 docking investment enterprises, coordinated Yiyang General Chamber of Commerce, Yiyang Young Entrepreneurs Association and other units to carry out investment promotion and recommendation activities for more than 10 times, and organized and invited heads of 32 enterprises to come to 221 group for investment negotiation, with funds in place and a physical amount of more than 410 million yuan.

In terms of education aid to Xinjiang, Yiyang City team made every effort to promote the construction of “1 + 1” concentric studio. One aid teacher assisted two backbone teachers to do a good job of “passing on and guiding”. In terms of medical aid to Xinjiang, Yiyang City team actively organized the doctors of aid to Xinjiang to lead the doctors of the staff hospital of the 221st regiment to go to the outpatient clinic of Turpan people’s hospital every week, contacted the doctors of Turpan people’s hospital to go to the outpatient clinic of the staff hospital of the 221st regiment as needed, and conducted normalized medical technology exchange. In terms of consumer aid to Xinjiang, Yiyang City team has independently established a sales platform for agricultural products and beef and mutton of the 221 regiment. In the past two years, it has sold more than 850 tons of fresh grapes of the 221 regiment and more than 1000 tons of Hami melon, red dates and other agricultural products and beef and mutton.

Highlight the cultural embellishment of Xinjiang and enhance the friendship between “Hunan soldiers”. Yiyang City task force deeply explored the history of 8000 Xiang women’s dedication to the frontier and construction of the frontier, and built the “Tianshan Hibiscus” 8000 Xiang women’s history exhibition project on Tianshan Mountain in the 221st regiment, with a total investment of 6 million yuan. At the same time, Yiyang City team has actively done a good job in the collection of old objects related to 8000 Xiang women.
