DappRadar Launches RADAR token

DappRadar was founded in 2018 and is currently headquartered in Lithuania. This company provides aggregated and in-depth data on decentralized applications (DApps) such as transaction volume, active users, and many other metrics.

Currently, the DappRadar website tracks more than 8,000 applications across more than 25 blockchain platforms. The most prominent is the data of Dapps on Ethereum, Solana, Binance Smart Chain. And the platform plans to support even more blockchains.

In addition to its strength in data analysis, DappRadar also builds accompanying utilities, such as portfolio management tools, watchlists, etc. The platform claims to have 4 million annual users.

In particular, DappRadar also has a Dapp store, which plays the same role as the app stores on Google Play or Apple Store.

“Centralized app stores charge a commission of up to 30% of app revenue. Meanwhile, our decentralized app store does not charge commission. Dapp developers will reach more users while saving costs.”

The token launch plan comes a few months after DappRadar raised $5 million in a Series A round. The VC funds that have invested in the platform include prominent names such as Prosus Ventures, Blockchain.com Ventures and Naspers Ventures. Earlier in 2019, DappRadar raised $2.3 million in a Seed Round.
