The Kaali cartel is a DAO ($KAALI) that aims to profit from DAO governance.
Our philosophy is based three key principles.
Being Simple: Getting in and out of the cartel, participating, taking profits etc.. will be as simple as possible.
Being Efficient: All aspects of the DAO is automated using smart contracts and bots. Capital efficiency is key here in the cartel
Being transparent & secure: The cartel’s treasury is put behind a multisig and all actions are time-locked. Which means the cartel leaders never work against the token holders and there is always time for the community to react making the cartel rug-proof.
The cartel works in three basic steps.
Attract power: The cartel will first use its products and treasury to acquire as much as governance power as possible.
Deploy Liquidity: The cartel will then deploy liquidity to capture the most value using whatever voting power has been accumulated.
Profit: The cartel will then deploy trading strategies to reap the benefits for the $KAALI holders.
All of the actions above is possible because of the cartel’s main token, the $KAALI token. The $KAALI token represents a share in the cartel’s treasury and a share in the profits of the cartel.
Unlike other DAOs, the cartel will only have one token to do everything. Staking, governing, taking profits etc. all happens with the $KAALI token.
We like to keep things simple.
Minting $KAALI happens whenever a user deposits collateral into the cartel. Burning $KAALI happens whenever a user redeems collateral from the cartel.
The collateral deposited in the cartel will be used to fund various automated strategies of the cartel.
Taking profits from the cartel happens by staking the $KAALI token. When staking, $KAALI holders can decide how long they would like to stake their tokens for. Anybody can stake their tokens from 2 weeks up-to 4 years.
The longer people stake their $KAALI, the more ownership of profits they’ll get than those who have staked for shorter periods of time.
With staking, the cartel can start to act more freely with the treasury without worrying about a possible bank run.
Introducing, the gentlemen of Kaali. The four gang leaders who give direction to the entire cartel.
Gilberto Rodríguez (0xgilberto): The leader of the cartel, a chess player. The strategist who makes decisions and grows the cartel. He’s the one who designs the strategies and plans ahead.
Miguel Rodríguez: Gilberto’s right hand man. The person who assists in the regular operations of the cartel.
José "Chepe" Santacruz: The foot soldier. He’s the guy that oversees the cartel’s community.
Hélmer "Pacho" Herrera: The fourth in command. The dev. The person in charge of writing all the smart contracts.
The four gang leaders operate the DAO which primarily consists of the $KAALI token holders who have staked into the DAO. $KAALI holders also play a role in running the cartel by voting, approving and executing any of the decisions made by any of the gang leaders.
In the end all the profits made by the cartel is shared across by the $KAALI holders and the gang leaders. The $KAALI holders keep 90% of all the profits made.
