Hey everyone, my name is Jasper Ayawan. I'm 21 years old, single, but not available for some reasons. However, if you want to enter my life, go ahead—don't hesitate, LOL! Anyway, I am currently a 4th-year college student at Southern Mindanao Colleges, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. However, in the first semester of 2023, I decided to drop out because I need to focus on my career as a full stack developer.

I'm from Poblacion Pitogo Zamboanga del Sur, and I am currently living in General Santos City. In order to finish my study I began studying coding back in 2020 when I was 18 years old. I started with C++. At that time, I had no idea what coding was because programming was not a part of my high school curriculum. It was quite frustrating for me when I decided to major in IT in college because I lacked prior knowledge.

Then, in my second year of college, I learned to code with HTML and CSS. I began to teach myself how to create systems, not through my school's curriculum, but through research on YouTube about web development and its roadmap.

This greatly aided me in becoming a web developer and a more productive individual. Additionally, I enrolled in online courses through platforms like FreeCodeCamp, Udemy, and Kodego. After a few months, I started developing simple projects based on what I had learned from YouTube and other platforms. There were moments when I almost gave up on coding because I faced multiple rejections when applying to various companies. They often preferred candidates with a graduate degree in IT or a related field.

Unexpectedly, I was eventually hired by a company called "Kave Guild." I was overwhelmed with joy that day, and I felt like my heart might explode. LOL!

I started working on Kave Guild when I saw a post from someone looking for a junior web developer position. I didn't hesitate to apply because it was my dream to become a web developer.

I wasn't expecting to get hired for that position since I knew that most companies prefer candidates with a graduate degree in IT. I was very lucky and thankful because, even though I didn't have any experience in the field, they still considered my application.

I am currently employed as a full-stack developer. In this role, I am responsible for both front-end and back-end development tasks. 

On the front-end, I focus on creating user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces using technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Meanwhile, on the back-end, I work with databases, server-side scripting, and APIs to ensure the functionality and performance of our web applications.

In my free time, I enjoy reading motivational books to stay motivated every single day, watching anime and drawing.

Additionally, I'm studying Korean and Japanese, and I've even created a note-keeping app to help organize and easily access my study notes for these languages. It also aids me in remembering what I've recently studied. I also listen to music when I want to relax. I don't socialize much because I don't have many friends; I'm more of a homebody.

Working with the Kave Team has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The team's dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit have made it a pleasure to be a part of this dynamic community.
