ZetaChain is a new layer 1 project aiming at interoperability with various blockchains. Ethereum, Polygon and BNB chains are currently available on the testnet.

The feature of ZetaChain is that "tokens can be moved to blockchains/layers other than ZetaChain without wrapping".

Unlike traditional bridges, neither side is required to hold constant tokens.

The great thing about this is that the money is not concentrated in one place. Diversifying the money reduces the incentive for hackers to attack.

The ability to overcome these cross-chain challenges is ZetaChain's strength.

A unique token, $ZETA, is used as a commission when making transactions as a base currency. $ZETA sent on the source chain is sent to the burn address, and $ZETA is newly minted on the destination chain.
