PROLOGUE

Sang Saka started as a naive NFT project on 4th September 2021 on Pentas.io. The initial idea of Sang Saka was created merely to showcase and highlight high-effort 1/1 art - we thought that NFTs could be a game-changer in the creative industry.

There were no plans to create a utility or roadmap like any other NFT project out there. However, something magical happened in the ensuing months - we got an unbelievable response from the community who now adopt Sang Saka as their digital identity.

We have had active community members selflessly contribute their time and money to help each other. It was truly a humbling and amazing learning experience.

We realized therefore that it is no longer sufficient for us, as project founders, to treat this as merely an art project. We need to create value for our holders - the community that has put great trust (and their cryptocurrencies) in us.

VISION

We made our entrepreneurial debut back in 2013 with the name “Konfederasi Anak Watan” (Confederation of Local Boys) - a name that encapsulates our vision to push Nusantara (Malay Archipelago) culture to the world.

We intend to fill this gap by creating a brand that takes local elements and becomes a self-appointed ambassador of Nusantara culture.

After receiving much feedback from the community and endless support from our holders and to further realize our vision to export our culture to the global audience, we are announcing a new second NFT collection, to be called “Sang Saka NFT”.

WHAT IS SANG SAKA NFT?

Sang Saka NFT is an immersive web3 media franchise based on Nusantara mythical creatures that will have our storyline & lore. Establish our roots on the Malaysian NFT marketplace Pentas.io where 530 OG Jerangkung includes exclusive project privileges.

We are expanding to ETH with a supply of 3000+ NFTs founded on six new characters. We intend to diversify the meaning of Nusantara as there is a lack of international representation of our beloved culture.

Our ambition is to create IRL business opportunities based on our IP that will return monetary and non-monetary benefits to our holders.

Sang Saka NFT applies three project values which are “Unity in Diversity”, “Passionate in Art” and “Creating a Happy Space”, encompassing the project’s vision.

SANG SAKA OG COLLECTION

Sang Saka is currently in the Top 3 ranking for the collectible NFT and 1 of the hot-selling collection. We have named this character “Jerangkung”, one of the mythical/ghosts in the belief of local people.

At the start of the Sang Saka journey, we initially planned for this Jerangkung collection to be capped at 1,000 pieces. “The Great Voyage” has now compelled us to cut that in half.

The last and final NFT in the Sang Saka collection on Pentas will be series #500. Since Sang Saka will expand to ETH, what will happen to this 530 Jerangkung? Hold your drink…

We have decided that all these 530 Jerangkung will be the OG collections for this project, and will be known as "OG Jerangkung”.

Since this is the OG collection, it will hold more special benefits and utility in this project during the pre-mint and after the minting that will be announced from time to time.

The OG Jerangkung holders will be taken care of by us. Plus, they also gonna play big roles in Sang Saka storyline & lore.

Such effort is daunting and could even be seen as foolish from a cost standpoint, but we believe that great art will be appreciated and our efforts will pay off in the long run.
