When I was in 6th grade, I had hours of free time and I was just on fire when it came to watching anime. In those days, I finished all of Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Dragon Ball Z, Deadman's Wonderland, Inuyasha, Code Geass, Eureka Seven, School Rumble, GTO, Rorouni Kinsen, Berserk and the list goes on. Its defiantly one of the best things I had discovered in my life.
Those days data was not as cheap in India, and my big brother had an external hard disk through which he used to get anime from his friends. You won’t believe it but I still have the whole bleach, Naruto and all the above mentioned anime offline. Today it sounds stupid but it made sense at that time.
Right now, I am remembering a lot of things from the past. Lets go one by one with this nostalgia:

If you haven’t heard of this fight, you don’t know what anime has to offer. Despite old animation this is still one of the best fights you will ever watch. The action is amazing but its the struggle of Lee is what will make you cry. I will not spoil it anymore. Watch it worth your time.

Days of buffering are almost gone but 10 years ago it was at its peak. Its was normal. It was good, though I did not use online stream as much, download and watching was much more common.

Bleach had one of most stylish animation, art style and characters. The story was cool as well, the fan base is awesome. But a time came when it started loosing popularity and eventually was stopped. The mangaka drawing it was rushed to end the series and we all know what happened after that. I wouldn’t lie, the story was getting a bit off the beat but I liked it. It was still the most stylish anime I had ever seen.

Naruto has enjoyed the most hyped ending in the history of anime, it will be broken when One Piece will end but until then it has the most hyped ending. But One this you have to admit, till date there has been nothing like Naruto. Not in terms of world and character building. Every character has a detailed back story, so much that they feel real.
Boruto is just capitalizing on Naruto, lets be say it. Boruto is just a shitty anime. Naruto should have ended.
Anyway, its the best anime ever, I highly recommend it. Check it out!

I call my self an Otaku whose crazy about anime but I still haven’t watched Neon; Genesis Evangelion. The fan community is great but I still don’t get it, what’s the hype about!
It one of the most highly recommended anime to me, I started it once left it after watching a few minutes. But think I will go back to it.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn is a fairly below average anime with about 200 plus episodes. I don’t know how else to say it, but it was a waste. If you are a fan please explain what's good about it.

Bakuman is one of my all time favorites and I wanted to be a mangaka as well after watching it. Though I failed miserably, but I at least started writing after that. Its one of those shows which just sticks with you. Sometimes I think its a cliché but then it feels so realistic when it comes to the representation of the manga industry. I think Miho Azuki is still my most favorite waifu, but only after Megumi from Saenai Heroine no Sodatekata ( Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend ).

I don’t usually watch Rom-Coms but there has been a few which I can recommend. I watched this because these were great. Here is the list, Toradora , My Teen Romantic Comedy, Nisekoi, Saekano(Its guilty pleasure! trust me), Sankarea (check out the manga as well), Kyōkai no Kanata is also amazing.
Yes, I don’t I intentionally didn’t include Clannad in this for 2 reasons; firstly, its overhyped; secondly, its just too sad. Don’t hate me for this fans(just an opinion); I used the image for you guys.

Just watch Welcome to NHK. Here is a simple premise, here is a guy who doesn’t go out of his house for three years and is completely alone, he believes that everything is a conspiracy. Through the anime he will socialize and become better.
If you are not sold on this just die. Only true Otakus can understand these this anime.
I want to write the 10th one as well, its just that oddly satisfying feeling to round-off things. I will leave it at that.
Here is the problem, I am a grown up now and I don’t have enough time and imagination to watch anime like I used to. I can’t turn my eyes from reality, I have a career waiting for me ahead. That’s real life, anime is just Heroin in front of that. It is becoming more of a guilty pleasure sometimes.
8 years ago my schedule was wake up watch anime, go to school talk about it, then comeback keep watching it until you sleep. Those days are gone but I still miss it. I see 30–40 year old's on reddit who still watch anime regular, if you are reading this, tell me how you do it guys.
Its getting hard but I still watch it, not like before but in new way, my taste has changed, now like series which has more to do with reality than a Macho fight, the non-battle battle is picking up my taste.
In any case, there is nostalgia for those early years of my anime watching life. I just wanted to Document my thoughts/Opinions/Facts about anime. I would love to hear yours. Thank you! Anime.
Have a good day!
