I'm just going to say this so one day I can say that I said it lol. 

If you look at the history of cinema/Hollywood or even the history of storytelling at large, you realize that storytelling/creativity always evolves to fit new technology as it comes.

The agency system for example has been standard in the industry for under 100 years (a small blip in human history) and evolved out of the motion picture model which evolved out of the technology available. 

We now have structures and systems around the film industry, but that was all built in response to the previously expensive/clunky movie making technology available.

As the technology changes, as web3 evolves, and new possibilities arrive, storytelling and our consumption of it will adapt just as it always does from oral tradition, to plays, to films, to social media, to games, to web3. 

This seems obvious, but I haven’t heard that many people in the entertainment industry talking about it.

It could be fun to do research on the way creativity evolves to fit the most recent innovations throughout human history.
