Tiny Bytes: RSA
tldr RSA works by exploiting the fact we can’t easily factor 2 large prime numbers and group theory to make a trapdoor permutation, aka a function that turns x into y but y can’t easily be turned into x without a secret. However, implementing RSA gets tricky because there’s lots of subtle attacks.MathRSA takes advantage of the group Z^*_{n} (multiplicative group of integers modulo n). This is the non-negative integers less than n that have an inverse modulo n. 1 x 1 mod n = 1. 0 x int = 0 so ...

Hi, Did much more writing on RSA. Will finish soon. Bye, Lucas

Hio,
The winds of the stars
Wash over the tired rivers
Cleaning their dark souls
I find it interesting how you can add a story with very little setup or context. A fifteen second conversation from a different time can hint at a backstory. The way people fish can show years of culture. It can be vague and hard to interpret, and I’d still find it fascinating. Rewatching some of Gurren Lagan they do that a lot with Kamina’s dad. I love how Howl’s Moving Castle doesn’t need to explain the magic or the machines but it feels real. It adds to the mystery, allows the audience to find their own meaning, and makes the world seem bigger than just the one story.
