How to buy $LEIA

While I was exploring the idea of tokenizing myself, I realized that many of the folks who may want to participate are not crypto-native. That’s why, I created a guide that explains how you can back this raise. Generally, I think it may be easier to participate using a laptop as opposed to a smartphone. You can participate in the raise in this article (I highly recommend reading it before you make a decision).

For crypto-natives:

  • You know the drill…

  • Connect your preferred wallet → Click “Back this project”.

  • Enter the amount you want to contribute → Approve the transaction.

  • Get $LEIA

For non-crypto-natives:

If you don’t already have a crypto wallet:

Create a wallet

  • Create a crypto wallet. I recommend using MetaMask. It’s easy to use and install, and it will take you less than 5 minutes to have your wallet ready. You can download it as a Chrome extension, or on iOS and Android devices.

Add ETH to your wallet

  • If you are using MetaMask, you can fund your wallet by clicking on the Metamask extension in your browser and clicking “Buy” (make sure you are buying ETH on the Ethereum Mainnet).

  • Pick the method with which you want to fund your wallet. Fill out the necessary details and fund your wallet.

Back the project

  • You can back the project here. I highly recommend reading the article before committing.

  • After reading, click on “Back this project” and enter the amount of $LEIA tokens you want to receive. Remember 1 ETH = 1000 $LEIA.

  • You should also take into account gas fees which can cost between $20 - $50 depending on chain traffic. For example:

    • Backing of 0.1 ETH - 100 $LEIA

      • Assuming gas is 0.009 ETH

        • 0.1 ETH + gas = 0.109 ETH = 100 $LEIA
