1. Buy some $ETH on a crypto exchange such as Coinbase, Gemini, or Kraken. You may need a few hundred dollars

2. Buy and set up a hardware wallet. This will keep your private key for your wallet off of your computer’s hard drave and stay stored in your device. I use the ledger nano x.

3. Send the $ETH you bought on the exchange to your hardware wallet address

4. Purchase an ENS domain at ens.domains

   1. This will simplify your crypto transactions

   2. Claim your identity on web3
