Theres some typos in the description above, please read below for a much more accurate description.

sadpimp_PIMPSCRYTWO.wav is a collection of songs from 2017-22 that didn’t really fit into any of the projects that were being created at the time. Basically these were those songs I made when I was in my feelings and shit. Some would call these throwaways, some have asked me to reupload these (the previously released shits) because they used to be their favorite songs before getting removed. And they just happened to fit together as a project very well, so I went ahead and pieced it all together.

We wanted to do something different with this release and I know some people are gonna be haters off rip, but I decided to make it available as an NFT. However with this nontangible, you will also receive some tangibles. When you purchase this limited edition NFT, your money will be invested directly back into the music. Paying for PR, marketing, music video production, collaborative efforts, merchandise and more. We will be completely transparent with how funds will be used as they are used. Each purchaser will also receive a merch pack including a hard copy of every album in the catalog along with a limited edition sadpimp hoodie and shirt, as well as admission to any headlining shows that may come to fruition in the future (which will be the norm for any purchaser of a Loko NFT). You will also receive a downloadable link of all tracks included in the NFT, as well as access to the password protected pages of the Loko Recordings website which includes all visual assets to accompany past projects with download links as well. Each purchaser will also have the opportunity to become a collaborator and choose 1 song from the project to collaborate on the visual for. In exchange for your creative contributions, you will receive 50% of streaming royalties for that song.

The idea behind this was to sort of create a way to raise money through the people who believe in the art. This gives me a way to grow with the ones who resonate with it. And I plan on doing it with every release from here on out (singles, albums, throwaway projectes etc). This is just the first of many. I’ve had a pretty bad experience with the music industry in general and don’t really care to participate in much of the bullshit you gotta do. I much rather do this independently while being myself, with the people I love. And with my luck over the years, I’ve been able to find some cool people and resources to make some things happen.

I don’t really wanna dive too much into my story because I tell it through the music, and I’m not really done telling it yet. But I’ve been doing music for most of my life and have seen the ups and downs that come with it. But as of recently, I feel like I’ve finally found what I’m doing it for and I think this all plays a role in it.

I’m just thankful for anyone that even tries to show support. Whether it be taking a listen for the first time this year, or you’ve been following since the jump it’s all love!
