But maybe he was referring to the fiscal year - October 1st in the U.S.? Maybe he has some personal calendar - the date of the first transaction in L0?  By the way, when was it? Anyway there is active work on Stargate V2 and there will need a native ZRO token. So if there will be a drop, either a snapshot will be made a couple months, two weeks, or a day before V2 release. And they may do it after the release.  Or They could make two snapshots. No one knows. By the way, we are also waiting for lzscan to come out of beta, as well as mainnet for usdc testnet bridge.
