In China, when students go to school, they will have to face all kinds of exams, especially in high school. In order to check out the students’ study process, the schools will take some exams at a certain time, some students need to accept the exam once a month, it is so common that every school will have the mid-term exam. To some people, they think taking too many exams will be a little cruel for the students, while in my opinion, the mid-term exam is necessary. First, the students will have a target in a short time, the end of the term is too far away from them, but the mid-term is near, so the students will have the motivation to study well. They know they must learn well in order to join the mid-term exam. Second, the teachers can check on the students’ situation, through the exam, they can know the students well and improve their teaching methods.
