Our platform is built upon the robust Cosmos SDK framework, connected to the Cosmos Hub through Inter-Blockchain Communication (IBC). This validator-based blockchain, powered by the secure CometBFT consensus algorithm, forms the foundation for JMES Worlds's native token (JMES), which is at the heart of all artistic transactions within the ecosystem.

Our consensus layer operates with a proof-of-stake mechanism where validators play a crucial role in maintaining security and fairness. Validators with staked JMES collateral are chosen to produce blocks, and block rewards are distributed to validators, delegators, and DAOs.

Delegation is a fundamental concept in the JMES ecosystem. JMES holders can delegate their tokens to validators and receive a proportional share of rewards. Validators, in turn, have the power to self-delegate and define commission rates for delegators.

The Business Layer: Enabling Tangible Growth and Development

The Business Layer within JMES is a novel approach to fostering growth and incentivizing participation. Through DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations), we bridge real-world entities with the blockchain, allowing for tokenization of assets, artist management, event hosting, and more. DAOs are empowered with up to 50% (collectively - 12.5% individually) of block rewards, enabling them to stimulate economic activity and user engagement.
