Why I Have A Blog

Hey there! Thanks for being interested in my thoughts.

My name is Luke Clancy. I am currently a 19 year old Industrial Engineering student at the University of Illinois who loves to improve at things that matter, learn from smart people, and explore what the future will look like. I also want to get better at thinking, so I created this blog to help me flesh out ideas that I think of or think are important. Putting those ideas into writing will challenge my reasoning, and a blog will push me to write more. So, here I am.

I like to think I have a lot of logical thoughts about the world but, like most 19 year old’s, I probably ~have no idea what I am talking about.~ Because this is a public blog and I will be actively testing these ideas, I hope to get a good gage on what works and what doesn’t. As a result, my ideas will change. I will probably contradict previous blog posts with new ones. However, the future blog posts will take into account the reasoning of previous ones. And if they do not, feel free to call me out on my bullshit because I could use as much Flex-Seal as possible when it comes to plugging up the holes in my logic. In the end, this blog is for me to lean into my curiosity, see where I am wrong, and peek out at the world through an ~original~ point of view. Welcome!
