1.So what is Akash.......well you can look at it like a decentralized cloud or like AWS but more decentralized.
2.Why is it important to decentralized the cloud.......well this is how the cloud (AWS) works. When you pay for storage at AWS they are storing your data in a central data warehouse as long as this is running no problem.....but when it goes down welllll not so much fun.
3. If everyone is running on AWS what happens when there central server shuts down or is hacked.....(dont say this wont happen it has already happened before)... well what happens is basically most of the internet goes down.
4.You cannot access websites and do most of the "internet things"..... Now you know just one of the problems how does akt solve this, The economy is built around the AKT token you use AKT to pay for cloud services.
5. The users wanting to "farm akt" use a super mini like this.....similar to a helium miner. Gpus will also be implemented this year.

6. Now this is important because now your nodes are distributed into multiple areas and not one central area so one goes down we keep rolling. Now akash is going thru several upgrades and tokenomic revamps that will make the protocol 100x better.
7. This is a little about gregg btw.....Tldr this is what he does @gregosuri gets junk done
8. Some of the upgrades are going to include having the akt token being burned to make a stable value asset for users to pay for akash services (similar to luna burn). There are additional tokenomic upgrades but this one is the one that is most important because it is creating a
9.more stable cost basis. Here are some other uses as well

10.Now these are cool things but what is the switching cost welllllll ull be shocked its wayyyy less.....ummmm like wtp are you doing using aws......it cost more and its more centralized

11.So how bout some data......well here are some of the leases aka users.

12. Spend

13. I only see this going up NFA.

14.Here are just a few daps that use akash.

15. Now the network is also looking on bringing in cloud storage where as before they needed and additional party......
16. What type of market is akt adressing......well lets just say many billions and counting

17.So whats the marketcap

18. Okay so if it takes just 1% of the 445 bill that would put akts Market cap at least a 13x from here and cloud compute will only be taking more and more marketshare so you do the math
19.Now what are the drawbacks and why is it not taking off so fast.....well first inflationary tokenomics were plaguing the token price.......they have now been changed and will be deflationary.
20. Now it is a "higher barrier to entry" for non native crypto users. They dont trust crypto even tho much easier they do not want to change. This is the first obstacle.
21. The second why change what works.......for now.....People are lazy
22. a better competitor may come along and take marketshare.
23. Well we dont use the internet anymore.....dont see this as likely but is def possible
24. Tooo lazy to read here is a video you can watch
