Lee, Director of the Chinese and Chinese Newspapers:

It is good, I am Chinese and Chinese.

Current new digital technologies have accelerated innovation and have been integrated into all areas of social development, throughout the process, becoming a key force for resource restructuring, restructuring of economic structures and changing competition patterns. In February this year, the Central and State Council issued the Digital China Building Master Plan, which sets out the direction of building for the Chinese-style modernization of the digital age and opens up new digital acquisitions. The Plan defines the strategic path of “building the foundations, enabling environments, strengthening capacities and optimizing the environment”, in which capacity emphasis is placed on building self-sustaining digital innovation systems and strengthening critical core technology disciplines.

Looking ahead, China builds a new journey, with communications as an innovative leader in the ICT industry, will take a heroic mission to move away from core technology and strengthen digital technology development initiatives, strengthen innovation around key areas such as bottom-up hardware, amplifiers’ equipment and several think-how platforms, significantly raise the level of the digital industry and deepen development with meaningful integration.

Reinforcement of low-floor hardware and innovation to build a solid industrial base. Our country has formed a “board” in the area of communications equipment as a whole, but to further consolidate the expanded lead advantage, it must strengthen its breakthrough in the bottom core areas of chip, operating systems, databases, etc. The Chinese communications insist on “ready the most difficult” and continue to strengthen autonomous innovations in the core technology of the bottom hardware, develop more than 120 cores of the design, cover the entire area of the communications network: clouds, tubes, ends; operate systems with high industrial reliability, mature for key sectors such as telecommunications, electricity and orbital transport, micro-loading of nuclear and national production chips, air carriers through the highest level of security of the CAAC; launch of the distribution database, Golden Bank, into the Department of Correspondents, a “typical solution”, 22-year-year-long Chinese financial pooled database, which is used in the central financial institutions.

To strengthen new infrastructure innovations and build on the ground. The key to deepening solid integration is to build a “bush” of digital infrastructure, to promote networking, resilience and application of infrastructure innovation and construction. Intermediate communication continues to focus on 5G and fibre-optic broadband, as well as on smart ends, industry modelling groups, etc., leading to “two gigabytes” construction, guaranteeing high-speed polar connectivity, while active research on forward-looking technologies such as 6G and the network of spatial integration networks, including key technologies such as network structures, new frequency spectrum, new airstrips, etc. The “digital base” of the cloud network is built around the “digital base” capability, strengthening the entire range of transformative product programmes, such as data centres, AI servers, chips and speed cards, and integrating the digital base that is extremely efficient, deep-integrated, green security.

Innovating multi-stakeholder platforms, the GSP sector is undergoing a transformation. The current integration into the deep-water area, with the upgrading of the digitization of industries facing two major strains, namely, low programme inputs, weak output effects and fragmentation and differentiation in industry demand. China has actively played a leading role in the demonstration by exploring more than 100 value applications for “dependation, efficiency, proficiency” value pathways, in conjunction with business leaders in priority industries. At the same time, in keeping with the experience of practice, the cumulative needs and capabilities of the industries are constantly being distilled, and last year the Digital Star cloud platform was launched to provide business clients with easy and flexible customization services and to efficiently meet the needs of the debris scene. The introduction in April of this year of an upgraded version of “digital stars cloud 2.0” has increased the number of new capacity components, such as block chains, privacy counting, AI training and reasoning, further enhancing the platform’s intellectually innovative applications, and has contributed significantly to the scale-up and application of value scenes.

ITU established this year’s World Telecommunications and Information Society Day as the theme “Enhancing the capacity of LDCs through information and communication technologies”, in fact, for countries at different stages of development, digital technology and physical integration are key paths for achieving sustainable economic and social development. China will maintain the strategic positioning of the “digital economy builders”, focusing on the new digital infrastructure, represented by 5G, to be innovative, to strengthen innovative breakthroughs in core technologies, infrastructure, a number of think-tanks, to digitize industries around the “Info-China Modern Development”, to build digital ecology with a broad range of partners and to build the path of integration.
