How to play

To increase marketplace adoption and liquidity, ThetaDrop NFT issues a native token, TDROP, to incentivise usage through "NFT liquidity mining" and as a governance token for the ThetaDrop platform.

Users will receive TDROP tokens every time they make a purchase on the ThetaDrop NFT Marketplace using TFUEL or through a 3rd party NFT Dapp built on the NFT Marketplace smart contract. At the same time,the cost of swipe transactions will exceed the mining reward, regardless of the ratio of TFUEL to TDROP, and discourages frequent trading of the same NFT by implementing a 'reward cooling' mechanism.

As the governance token for ThetaDro, TDROP holders can pledge their tokens to gain voting rights and propose changes to ThetaDrop. Each user's voting rights for a given proposal will be equal to their pledged TDROP share as a percentage of the total TDROP pledged. ThetaDrop users with TDROP balances will receive VIP benefits, including early or exclusive access to NFT, limited edition packs, unique offline benefits and more.

By using the Theta network, ThetaDrop casts NFT at a cost (including gas fees) as low as $0.10 and transaction times are approximately 100 times faster than Ether.
