We are happy to share that Mantis is collaborating with Fragmetric, a liquid restaking protocol on Solana. This partnership will involve accepting $fragSOL deposits into the Mantis rollup. This means that $fragSOL can be used for pre-funding user accounts on Mantis. Then, $fragSOL will be able to be used on the Mantis application in swaps and eventually other intents.
Soon, $fragSOL will be accepted for deposit into Mantis accounts. This will allow users to pre-fund their Mantis accounts leading up to the launch of swaps on Mantis. This provides new use cases for $fragSOL: $fragSOL can be swapped cross-chain along or between Ethereum and Solana via Mantis.
Fragmetric is a liquid restaking protocol that contributes to the overall security of the Solana ecosystem. The project is currently developing secure standards for liquid restaking tokens (LRTs) and vault representation tokens (VRTs). Moreover, Fragmetric plans to quantitatively evaluate the profitability and security of node consensus networks (NCNs) once their staking goes live.
Fragmetric has partnered with Jito to introduce their first LRT, $fragSOL. This is Solana’s first native LRT that is based on the Jito Staking and Restaking VRTs.
$fragSOL was created to address issues in rewards distribution and liquid staking token (LST) slashing that are associated with other LRTs:
Solana’s Token Extension’s transfer hook feature is used to precisely manage rewards distribution based on the duration that users hold LRTs:

Fragmetric’s Normalized Token Program uses different LSTs for NCN validation simultaneously, defining clear slashing ratios for different LRTs based on LSTs’ quantity and value:

For more information on Fragmetric and $fragSOL, reference their Blog or X.
