I Built a Tool Using AI — No Code, No Developer

We’re entering an era where you can build with words.

With tools like OpenAI Codex, ChatGPT, and Zapier AI, I created a simple but powerful tool — without writing a single line of code.

What I Built

I asked AI to help me:

- Collect emails from a form

- Store them in a Google Sheet

- Send an automatic reply to each subscriber

The result? A basic email capture and response system — perfect for newsletters, lead magnets, or business inquiries.

The Prompt I Gave AI.

Here’s a version of the prompt I used:

"Create a form that collects name and email, saves it to Google Sheets, and sends a thank-you email automatically."

I used:

- ChatGPT for the base code and logic

- Zapier AI for automation

- Google Sheets as the backend

What This Means

Before AI, this would require:

- A developer

- Hours of coding

- Debugging, testing, and deployment

Now?

I did it in under 30 minutes. 

That’s speed + creativity + zero cost
