NFT collectors are wising up to botting practices. They're looking for clues in your Twitter and Discord followings.
What are they looking for? Here's an easy red flag.
There'll always be some bots, but you can look at the ratio of ONLINE to TOTAL USERS to get an idea of the Discord's invite practices.
5:1 is probably the highest before I raise questions.

What does a questionable ratio look like?
If your Discord has a ratio of 20:1, that's obvious.
I'll assume a majority of your Discord are bots. When you get higher than 6:1, I grow suspicious... and I probably never enter your Discord.


What's the solution for project founders?
STOP paying people to bot your Discord.
The vanity metric isn't worth destroying your image. You'll get found out when people enter and find zero engagement. Instead, focus your money & attention on where your actual customers are.
