As a movie blogger, I've seen a lot of films over the years, and while I've enjoyed many of them, there have also been a fair share that I did not like. However, one film that stands out as a particularly disappointing experience for me was the 2017 sci-fi movie "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets".

Directed by Luc Besson, the film boasted an impressive cast, including Dane DeHaan, Cara Delevingne, and Clive Owen, and promised to be a visually stunning and action-packed adventure. However, from the very beginning of the film, I found myself struggling to engage with the story or the characters.

One of the biggest issues with the film, in my opinion, was the pacing. The story felt disjointed and rushed, with little time given to character development or emotional resonance. Instead, the film relied heavily on flashy visuals and action sequences, which ultimately felt hollow and unengaging.

Another major issue with the film was the casting. While DeHaan and Delevingne are both talented actors, they didn't seem quite right for their roles, and their chemistry together felt forced and awkward. Additionally, Owen's character felt one-dimensional and clichéd, and failed to bring any real depth or nuance to the film.

Overall, "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" was a disappointing experience for me as a moviegoer and a blogger. While the film had its moments of visual spectacle, it ultimately failed to deliver a compelling story or engaging characters, and left me feeling bored and uninvested.
