(Physics) Mother of Sciences

Physics is the mother of all sciences. Math is technically not a science, you cannot use experimentation to prove Pythagoras’ theorem.

Physics explains nature from the nano world of electrons and positrons to the universe understanding the life cycle of the universe.

Theoretically you can boil down every science to physics. Chemical theories such as that of electron orbitals can be derived from quantum physics. Gibbs Law is basically a reinterpretation of the 1st Law of Thermodynamics. If we had super computer that could track the each individual particle, we could explain chemistry just using physics. Biology is manifestation of complex chemical reactions, which in return can be explained (in theory) through physics.

However this doesn’t show that physics is superior to other fields. Each field is useful in its own way, biology has helped us improve our life expectancy and cure diseases. Chemistry has helped us improve fertilisers and make novel materials. Physics has helped through improving technology such as the steam engine and the semiconductor.

I should let a comic skit do the explanation for the other sciences.
