On 6 May, the global “mother factory” of the GESAMP — the launch of the Southern Intelligent Production Base (hereinafter referred to as the South Base) was held in depth. The total investment of the project, which exceeds $2.2 billion, will result in an annual production of over 16 million in smart products, leading up to hundreds of thousands of jobs in downstream enterprises. The group will develop its full “mother plants” advantage by providing customization products to customers of over-larged domestic and foreign enterprises, as well as by helping a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to incubate innovative products and continuously explore advanced manufacturing future models.

On the same day, the Vice-President of the Committee of the City of Deloitte, Chen Chang, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Informationization of the City of Guantling, the Secretary-General of the Council of the Light, the Deputy Secretary of the Zone, the Governor of the Zone, the Minister of the Hong Kong, the Vice-President of the Council of the Hong Kong Group, the President of the Group of the Whole and Chairman of the China District Council, Liu, the Deputy Executive Director of the Group, the Senior Vice-President of the Group, the Chief Strategic Officer and the Chief Market Officer of the Federation, Joy, took part in this important ceremony.

Advancedly manufactured “concentrationers”

What kind of factory can be called the global “mother factory”? In response, the Group’s Senior Deputy Managing Director, the Global Supply Chain Leader, has a great deal of three key indicators: the pioneering application of state-of-the-art technology + the formation of innovative ideas and innovative products that can be replicated for extension programmes + incubators.

The South Base is the most complex intelligent manufacturing plant for the group’s production, producing more than 50 products and producing nearly 100,000 configurations, as well as traditional operations such as desktops, personal workstations, servers, high-performance clustering, displayers, selections, FRU, incubating various types of smart products, such as smart modules, smart ends, intelligent wear equipment, and intelligent domestic power, with markets covering more than 180 countries and regions worldwide.

Such a complex product mix creates a diversity of demand. At the South Base, more than 60 per cent of orders were placed under 10, and fluctuations in order volume were significant due to uncertainty in product demand.

Building on the wealth of manufacturing experience and practices accumulated over the years by the Consortium, the South Base has deepened the integration of the imaginative system solutions developed by the Consortium for its own development, which have resulted in the full digitization of people, machines, materials, laws and rings, through the application of advanced technologies such as Al, Physical Networking, Digital Diving, Data Analysis, etc., and the creation of new smart tiles for automation and digitization.

At the same time, the South Base was able to achieve perfect compatibility with different order products, as well as a zero-sum conversion of different types of aircraft. For example, in the case of a small number of work processes requiring personnel, the South Base uses ESOP (intellectual craft system) and switches digitized 3D Operational Guidance on order orders, thus achieving seamless exchange of the accuracy of different product operations. Traditional manufacturing requires customization needs that can be met from 10 to 20 days and, under advanced manufacturing systems, order delivery can be achieved over one or two days.

Currently, the South Base has a total of nine high automated pole lines and 12 major smart manufacturing systems. Its smart control platform is the most sophisticated, well-functioning, most significant, well-equipped, well-equipped, well-performing, discrete manufacturing industry operating platform of the current domestic concept, which can be implemented globally for multiple parks.

In addition, the South Base aims to create a low-carbon green intellectual park using technologies such as physical networking, large data analysis, automated gathering of energy data such as park-based water, electricity, gas, etc., humidity and emissions, and helps parks to further develop dynamic analysis and decision-making based on transparent and accessible data.

It is axiomatic that the South Base will build on the cumulative manufacturing experience accumulated over the years, with the aim of “new IT, new intellectuals, new ecology”, fully integrating smart technologies with business landscapes and integrating them. Through the excavation of industrial distress, the design of individualized industrial technology solutions in the areas of smart manufacturing, the quality of the intellectual union, and intellectual logistics, and the creation of high-informatized and automated pole estates.

Global leading sample of major industrial markets

From the “triple-to-one” export processing zones of the early stages of the reform of the opening of the country, to the major advanced manufacturing centres that are now leading the globe, deep-rooted at the forefront of manufacturing change and have taken a leap forward from quantitative to qualitative change, from low to medium- and high-end development. In 2022, for the first time in the country, the gross and full-calibre industries of deep-scale and above were “two-first” in the cities of the country, becoming the “first-largest industrial city”.

The Group is a practicer of “exploitation” and “expression”. Since taking root in 1989, I think has grown for more than 30 years in tandem with deep-seated waves, and now grow into the world’s first largest PC factory, the third largest server factory.

As one of the major projects in deep-rooted cities, the South Base is a key initiative in building the core capacity of the imaginative group, albeit intelligent. The City and Light Territories Governments attach great importance to the high-quality development of manufacturing enterprises and provide strong industrial space security for high-quality enterprises, including syndicates. With the strong support of the Government of Deep City and Light Districts, the Base began its work in March 2020 and has undergone the heavy challenge of three years of epidemics, with only one and a half years of completion, early delivery by 2022 and delivery within 100 days.

In addition, the Group has exported solutions that are already well advanced and tested, to other factories and more manufacturing enterprises worldwide. As early as 2015, in order to help the Association think of the successful production of the Mexican factory, the then deep-rooted plant (extended by the South Base) was dedicated to providing engineering technical experts to help Mexican factories to build up end-to-end manufacturing systems and to train Mexican factory workers and assist them in smoothing down.

In June 2022, the Group’s Hungarian factory was officially full-lined and became the most recent and important strand along the “One Route”. The plant’s original four-producer line was designed, manufactured and passed on to a mother’s home using the same line of production at the South Base.
