The Meme Index team has wrapped up another productive development cycle, with significant progress across the backend, frontend, and smart contract layers. We’re excited to share what we’ve achieved , and what’s ahead as we approach mainnet launch.

(June 5 – June 18, 2025)

We have focused on building critical infrastructure that powers how Meme Index calculates APY and handles pool configuration logic. It also saw the full build-out of admin controls that allow for real-time pool parameter adjustments across the platform.

• Price & APY Service Backend: We finalized the backend services responsible for consensus price calculation, discrepancy checks, and APY logic. These services form the heartbeat of Meme Index, ensuring accurate returns and up-to-date token valuations. The groundwork for on-chain APY publishing was also laid during this sprint.

• Polls Functionality (In Progress): Substantial work was done on both backend and frontend layers for our new polls module. This will empower users to vote on key platform proposals. While development was still underway, the flow was mapped end-to-end and queued for completion.

(June 19 – July 2, 2025)

With the core features in place, the team focused on completing the polls system and transitioning into a testing-heavy phase.

• Polls Feature Complete

  • Finalized smart contract interactions for voting and result publishing

  • Built out backend APIs for submitting and retrieving votes

  • Completed the user-facing UI for viewing and participating in polls

Quality Assurance (QA) Begins: We began comprehensive testing across all features developed so far. The team prioritized identifying and resolving critical bugs while laying the groundwork for upcoming testing sprints.

(July 3 – July 16, 2025)

As we prepare for public release, the current phase is focused on rigorous quality checks and validation under real-world conditions.

• Comprehensive Testing & Bug Fixing: System-wide testing continues across all major components - backend services, frontend logic, and smart contracts - with a heavy emphasis on edge case validation.

• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): The UAT platform will simulate real user interactions to ensure the platform is intuitive, responsive, and functionally sound.

• System Integration Testing (SIT): Every moving part of Meme Index - from APY calculations to poll submissions - will be tested as a full system to ensure smooth cross-component communication.

• APY Stress Testing: We’ll load up extended periods of historical token prices and pool data to simulate volatile market conditions and verify the resilience and accuracy of our APY engine.

• Production Data Simulation: UAT and SIT will leverage mainnet and production-like datasets, allowing us to spot issues early and ensure we're ready for prime time.

With core features now complete, Meme Index is entering its final validation stages.
