MetaBlox isn't just a game studio; it's a collaborative gaming venture. As an investor, you're the driving force of our creations and every step we take within the Roblox ecosystem. As a result, we share the majority of our revenue back to our investors.


We’ve chosen to continue our project and game updates in a written, long-form format. It allows us to offer more detailed insights into project progressions and considerations, ensuring we can inform everyone and go more in-depth on areas we previously could not. It also gives us a historical overview of updates, highlighting our journey, so everyone has all updates in one overview on our Mirror, either existing or new believers.

Through this series, we provide thorough explorations of developments, highlighting core subjects, like gameplay overviews, new features, enhancements, and the overall direction of our project. Revenue share overview

Let's touch on our recent progress before we delve into the game updates. In January, we're proud to have shared approximately $11,141 in earnings with our investors. This means we’ve generated over $13,926 in revenue in January alone.

Over just over three months, we have shared a grand total of $34,264 with our qualifying holders. While we’re gearing up to launch two new, major titles, we’re proud of this achievement and thank our investors for making it all possible. We have every intention and a strong belief that we will grow this number tremendously in the following months.

Activities

Following the holiday season, we have focused on the project's cornerstone foundations, which we will dive into in the article.

  • Reconsidering our approach to growth: We took a step back and reflected on the early project launch and growth stages. Considering a steep growth curve, followed by retracement and consolidation, we’ve redefined our way forward to improve stability and growth for a healthy and long-term, prioritizing game development.

  • Role-play Game: Our focus has been on enhancing the role-playing game. We've started modeling the building interiors, are developing a user interface for a smooth experience, and refined the map designs based on early experience and feedback.

  • New Combat Game: We started developing our brand-new combat game. It's moved from planning to the active development phase, promising adrenaline-pumping battles for the Roblox ecosystem.

  • Partnership: We've worked hard to secure a major partnership. While the details are still under wraps, this collaboration holds exciting possibilities for MetaBlox Games, both for our community and to allow us to reach a new target audience.

Our approach to growth & flywheel.

We're aiming to achieve a foundation where everyone wins. Players, creators, supporters, buyers, holders, and sellers (yes, them too).

We must and will follow through on our strategy to prioritize the core utility of our project. As we've seen, early and fast growth leads to retraction and consolidation, affected by market speculation and volatility. To ensure sustainable growth, we need to make the games and their revenue the driving force behind price action, aligning it with the overall project growth. This approach will help counteract the effects of market fluctuations and speculation built on anticipation and/or hype.

This means we need to focus on the core utility of our project first and build from there. Our flywheel adopts the principle of a virtuous cycle for growth, inspired by the successful model used by leading companies like Amazon. It focuses on creating a self-sustaining loop where each cycle element feeds and amplifies the others. As for Amazon, it doesn’t make sense to market books if the books can’t keep up with demand. It’s the same exact concept for us.

By focusing on and continuously improving our game portfolio and player experience, we aim to attract more players, investors, and partners, enabling our further expansion in a healthy way.

Game Updates

Buy My Avatar - Engaging the Roblox Player Base.

"Buy My Avatar" stands as our flagship game, and we're humbled by its success in engaging the Roblox player base. Buy My Avatar has been showing consistent results and is currently back down from heights during/after the holiday season. The visits and CCU on the Roblox platform/algorithm flow in cycles, having results on weekly monetizations as well. The team always monitors performance and takes action where needed. Going back to our project launch, we’ve hit an average Monthly Active User (MAU) total of over 1.46 million players. We’re reaching a large player base, and it joys us to see their continued enthusiasm for playing the game.

Looking at a breakdown of our global reach, you can see the United States equals well over one-third of our player base. The Roblox Creators dashboard gives excellent insights into the performance and demographics of Buy My Avatar, allowing us to target specific sub-demographics and expand our reach in the future.

Role-play Game - Crafting a Truly Immersive World

Role-play enthusiasts have plenty to look forward to in our upcoming game. We continue developing and refining our role-play game to create a more immersive experience for all players. Map design and decorations are ready, and we’re working on finalizing building interiors, developing the user interface, and scripting all interactions necessary for each game component.

Diving into the gameworld
Our game world currently consists of 15 main areas and buildings. All of these have unique interiors and interactions that immerse the player in the game world.

We have plans to add more buildings and activities on the map in consecutive content updates, scheduled for release in the form of content updates after the main game releases.

On our first major release, we plan to go live with the following areas/buildings:

Interior design

Buildings need interiors, and they need to be great. We design every area/building carefully and specifically decorated to create an immersive experience where people enjoy being and spending time. Details and quality matter, combined with scripting the interactions that define the possibilities of that building.

Combat Game - Prepare for Battle

Our new combat game has moved into development. We are looking to have the first release of the game finished over the course of the next four weeks. While we can’t go into specifics just yet, this game promises action-packed battles, strategic gameplay, and an opportunity for players to showcase their combat skills.

We have hired three core developers and multiple contractors to build the game and will involve more roles in the following weeks. The three core developers include a programmer, a 3D modeler + map builder, and a user interface designer. The contractors are working on visual effects, sound effects, animations, and more. We look forward to sharing more on the combat game as development continues.

Crafting games on the Roblox platform requires many different skills. What roles and skills are needed to create a game on Roblox? A quick overview.

  • Builder & 3D Modeler: Create 3D environments and maps where players can have an immersive experience with a fully optimized build, which ensures low-end devices have the same experience without compromising gameplay quality.

  • Gameplay Programmer: Code efficiently so that all real-time mechanics work together to ensure optimal performance.

  • User Interface: Ensure all user interface components are visually appealing to the players and audience so that they engage in the gameplay.

  • Visual Effects: Create effects to immerse the player in the virtual environment, for example, a fireworks explosion or a sword slashing effect.

  • Sound Effects: Create high-quality audio that matches the unique movements of players and the special tools they possess.

  • Character Animations: Animate the default Roblox character to perform specific actions that match their intent.

  • Graphics Artist: Create visually appealing graphics that would market the game and its community in a powerful way.
