Sina digital news on the morning of April 15, according to the developer log quoted by Bloomberg, apple is internally testing several variants of the next generation M2 chip and new Mac series computers equipped with them. At least nine new Macs are under development, using four different M2 chips.
The following machines are under development: equipped with M2 core MacBook Air, with 8-core CPU and 10 core GPU.
Mac Mini with M2 chip and M2 Pro chip version.
Entry level 13 inch MacBook Pro with M2 chip.
14 / 16 inch MacBook Pro with M2 pro and M2 Max chips.
M2 Max chip has 12 core GPU, 38 core GPU and 64GB memory. Mac Pro may use the improved version of M1 ultra chip used in MAC studio.
M1 Max version of Mac Mini, but the release of MAC studio may make such machines redundant, so the final version of Mac Mini may use m2 and M2 Pro chips.
According to Bloomberg, internal testing is a “key step” in the development process, suggesting that these machines may be released in the coming months. We have heard many rumors about the new MacBook Air, the new generation of 13 inch MacBook Pro, Mac Pro and the new Mac Mini, but this is the first time this year that we have heard that the 14 / 16 inch MacBook Pro may be updated.
According to these rumors, MacBook Air, low-end macbook pro and mac mini can be expected to come out in 2022. Bloomberg previously said that at least two Macs will be launched in the middle of the year, possibly at the WWDC developer conference in June.
