Hey now. It’s been a while since I checked in, so I guess I’m a bit overdue for an update. To put it mildly, Miami did not quite go as planned. Good times were had, to be sure, experiences the likes of which fuel the fire of life, but I experienced a major setback along the way when I left my backpack in a new acquaintance who I made the mistake of trusting a bit too much’s car. Upon arriving in Miami, I headed for Deeze’s Goonz hotel pool party. That event was super chill, so I ended up staying around a bit too long and I found out the hard way about Miami traffic during Art Basel. Do not try to cross the bridge if you don’t have to. It takes forever. I wanted to go to Boobavelli’s Remillio Recess event, but the bus took so long that I only got to be there for the tail end. After that point, I was pretty exhausted, so I wandered the city for a short while, and then found a patch of grass and some cardboard, and called it a night.

The next day the first thing on the agenda was Blunts and Brunch with Paper Buddha. The folks I met there were super kind and shared their fresh New York bagels and West Coast dank. Warm Miami sunshine vibes. Heady.
From there I ended up at the Base house, which was full of QR codes you could scan to get Base NFTs and redeem merch. Jesse Pollack was there and I got some really cool swag, unfortunately, I wasn’t able to hold on to any of it.I left the Base house and headed for the Harry Potter Obama Sonic 10 Inu Sproto party. That was a ton of fun and meeting that team made me very bullish on the future of $Bitcoin.
After leaving the Harry Potter Obama Sonic 10 Inu party I ended up hopping in a car to go to the Sappy Seal thing, which was over capacity. Fire Marshalls arrived on the scene with the police and were aggressively clearing the area in front of the building, so I ended up going to another club with some of the folks from the Sproto party. I asked them if it was ok to leave my backpack in their car, as it was pretty heavy, and I hadn’t gotten a room to leave it in. They said that was fine, so we went into the club. I was there until the club closed. I had checked in with them within an hour or so of the club closing and they said they were in no hurry to go anywhere. Well, low and behold the club is emptying out and they were nowhere to be found. I looked where the car was and there was no sign of them, or my stuff. I realized I had made a huge mistake and I only had the dude’s Twitter info. Eventually I did get in contact with him, after I got back home, and he sent me a little bit of the shitcoin he helped launch as consolation. Really doesn’t make up for the laptop and all of my sentimental shit, but it’s better than nothing.
Late that night, after reaching out to the group chat, my DAO Don brothers in arms Erik and Deejay came to my rescue and let me crash at their hotel, having lost my gear to comfortably sleep outside with. Erik even picked up the tab for breakfast the next morning. I have to say, DAO Don has some absolute chads in it. I have no idea what I would have done without them. We went to some investing collective I can’t recall the name of’s event and then Deejay and I conned our way into the Rug Radio mansion, which was a lot more chill than I expected. I spent the majority of the time I was there posted up on a boat which was docked out back.
The following day after the conference was over, Strawbie threw a little post conference hot tub party which was the absolute perfect chill vibe to top off a fun, but absolutely chaotic trip to Miami where nothing went as planned. My stuff running away on me put a real kink in all of my plans. I’ve bounced back well enough though, and obtained a new laptop. I’m headed to Eth Denver next, with renewed momentum and focus on a project I’ve been quietly cooking up for a long time now. Non Fungible Acid Bears will be high steppin’ into Berachain thoon, and I can’t wait to bring them to you.
If you’ve made it this far though my ramble I commend your patience, and I’m sorry for putting you through the slog that must have been to read. Subscribe to be subjugated to further such ramblings. If you want to mint the article, you never know, it could help somehow. (~);}
