As much as it seems that there is little to no thought put into our launch strategy and overall growth strategy each phase is curated meticulously. The Milady Maker X LITE collection idea came about after receiving numerous amount of feedback, 1:1 requests, and additional traits.
This then sparked a rabbit hole of beginning to aggregate the most like Milady Maker traits and recreate some iconic community member’s Milady. So we compiled a long list and got to work. This seemed like a viable solution but there was a gnawing idea in the back of the collective’s head…
WHAT IF PEOPLE DON’T TRULY IDENTIFY WITH THEIR MILADY X
I mean why even don a NFT if you don’t connect with it on some level or see a little bit of yourself in it or the community.
That is when we had the idea… the idea that will charter a new direction for the project and create a new standard for derivative projects.
The first step in this idea was to drop Milady Maker X LITE. A free collection with 0% OpenSea royalties used to onboard everyone who is interested in the community without a paywall. The LITE traits were purposely reduced and distributed evenly.
We will make this simple for everyone… you will need Milady Maker X LITE in order to purchase a Milady Maker X Pill.
There will be 1000 Milady Maker X Pill NFTs available for Ξ0.0888 at a random date idk when we feel like it.
Oh yeah and you need to hold a Milady Maker X LITE to be able to mint (hope you didn’t dump them all).
Okay? But wtf why even mint this when you already have a Milady Maker X LITE?
Well anon… let’s get one thing straight. We really do not care if you mint it or not. If you would like to don the free Milady Maker X LITE then do so and ignore this completely.
In short the Milady Maker X Pill will allow you to put in a custom request for a 10 trait Milady Maker X. For each custom request 1 Milady Maker X Pill and 1 Milady Maker X LITE will need to be burned.
A Milady X LITE is required to be burned in order to keep the collection in equilibrium. There will only ever be 1000 Milady Maker X ever whether it be LITE or custom.
So it is already known you will have to burn 2 different Milady X NFTs in order to submit a custom Milady Maker X request. This will explain a bit more about how the traits will be handled and the rarity maintained.
Each custom request is allotted 10 total traits. These traits can be selected from the categories of original Milady Maker traits:
Background
Earring
Eyes
Face Decoration
Glasses
Hair
Hat
Neck/Necklace
Race
Shirt
With an allotment of 10 you would be able select 1 of each trait but mix and matching is allowed in case you really want those double earrings and face tats.
Alright… that’s cool… but how do we enforce rarity? Wouldn’t everyone go for Alien race?
Yeah obviously the rare original Milady Maker traits would be sought out and requested time and time again. That is why we are using a 1:10 ratio for the amount of times a trait can be used across all the custom Milady Maker X’s. Here is an example:
There are 133 Alien race traits in the original 10k Milady Maker collection.
That means only 13 custom requests can select the Alien race trait and it will be on a first come first serve basis.
This system was crafted to reward early supporters and not have them rely purely on RNG to get the Milady Maker X they would most identify with.
