PREVENTION OF BREAST CANCER

While there's no guaranteed way to prevent breast cancer, you can reduce your risk with healthier choices:

  1. Maintain a healthy weight, exercise regularly, limit alcohol, and eat a diet rich in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.

  2. Breastfeeding may also help.

  3. Avoid smoking

  4. Schedule regular exams and mammograms,

  5. Discussing genetic testing with your doctor if breast cancer is common in your family.
