The goal of this Thursday evening is to snag a table at Clamato, a “cool, rustic-chic restaurant presenting a changing menu of creative seafood dishes & wine.“
After asking friends in Paris for a dinner recommendation, this spot was the common denominator on everyone’s list. After trying to bribe one of the waiters at Septime La Cave (Clamatos sister restaurant) and practically begging the girl handling the reservations, we successfully got a table.

What to expect: Authentic, crowded, buzzy, priceworthy
A neighborhood institution, where locals come with their wine bottles and fill them directly from the barrels. Perfect on a warm afternoon for a glass of wine and an oyster out on the pavement.
What to expect: Cool, hipstery, wine-obsessed Parisians
Take a 7 min walk up to Septime La Cave (but before you order, put your name up for a table at Clamato across the street) Grab a glass of natural wine and a spot in the window.
