This is the second round of the Reapers’ Game.
For Game 2, Players were asked the prompt:
“Draw me an illustration or animation of a character (OC or a derivative of your favorite character) dancing. Any style of dancing is acceptable, and a background is optional, but appreciated.”

Thank you to the 32 Players participating in Game 2.

Congratulations to Lamenthyst for winning Game 2!
This piece encapsulates the motion of a dancer’s spin really well. The dancer’s serene smile catches your eye and then traces her twirl and clothes around her. With the details on the building and the nearby onlookers, the background adds context and spirit to the piece.
Again, congratulations to Lamenthyst for making such a beautiful piece. I’ll be in contact shortly regarding the reward.

I believe these pieces deserve an honorable mention because each of the following works is incredible in their own right. Moreso than their visual prowess, it's clear how much love and effort each artist has put into their work. I strongly encourage other Collectors to check them out on Foundation.
I’m sure you’ll find something you like.

A one-handed freeze with an insane perspective, this piece caught my eye by having so much style in its composition.

A somber dance between a woman and an eerie skeleton is a great representation of the old saying “dancing with the devil.”

I don’t believe I can add a video to this article, but this submission was the only animation that was submitted. Based on the Hare Hare Yukai dance from the infamous Haruhi anime, this piece captures the motion of the dance with Japanese writing moving and appearing on screen. I underestimated how long it takes to make an animation, but I’m very happy to see that RH was able to create this in just a month. Please give the animation a watch, if you can.

An elegant pose of a ballet dancer gives the viewer a sense of weightlessness that the dancer feels. An amazing soft vibe piece from Yuishi, once again.

An energetic piece with 4 poses of one dancer or 4 dancers coming out in a line, this piece is like the beginning of an idol concert.

With flames swirling around a dancer, this pixel art piece has so much flow in the feathers and flames.

A woman mimicking the stained glass figure in the background while red petals float down, this piece has a great atmosphere of an old church.

A great representation of what a dancer feels while moving. Lighting the world around her with vibrant colors and a beautiful array of flowers, this woman twirls to look at the viewer.

A girl dances outdoors while the wind blows in a cozy world, this piece has great movement in it with the wind and the way the clothes move with the girl’s movement.

The intention for this prompt was to see how artists would handle an optional commission that requested an understanding of motion in an illustration or animation. It was enjoyable to see how each artist approached the prompt and how their art came out.
For Game 3, here's a small hint: DanMachi S3E12
I hope all Players and viewers of the Reapers’ Game had a good time. I’ll see you all in the next Game.
P.S: Please keep in mind the judgment of the game is just my opinion. I don’t have any formal fine art training or official credibility. I’m simply a human who likes anime and art.
About the Reapers’ Game: A series of games run by a Conductor and overseen by a Composer. Think of it like a game master (a GM from the MMORPG days) and a game’s director. Prompts will be given to Players (artists) with requirements and a time limit.
