The final countdown has begun! It’s the merge next week, and we’re all here for it. It’s a big moment in crypto history so what better theme for this week's Mother update?

Here’s a look back to the last time the computer world prepared for a big change:

We really enjoyed meeting more Krakenites this week from your Product and Business SMEs - thanks for all the food for thought. One of our biggest takeaways from the Q&A sessions was “when it comes to crypto, the best way to learn is to do.”  We couldn’t agree more. So that’s exactly what we are doing. In celebration of Ethereum’s switch to proof of stake, we are going to ‘stake’ our pitch fee (thanks v much) and invest it into a handful of cryptocurrencies. Via Kraken of course, but like you, we think it’s better to know thy enemy, so we’ll also be investing a bit in competitor platforms too so we fully understand what we’re up against. We might even invest in a few NFTs. We especially like the sound of generative art, so have been scoping some collections out across Ethereum and Tezos. Watch this space.
