Transactions in Arbitrum - ATH

Recently, there has been a surge in the number of transactions on Arbitrum. As of September 7th, the 7DMA for transactions on Arbitrum is 331 thousand.

This value reached a new historical maximum, exceeding the surge in the number of transactions at the end of June caused by the Arbitrum Odyssey. Interestingly, during almost the whole of August, about 100 thousand transactions were made in the Arbitrum network.

The 3-fold jump in the number of transactions was caused by the recent transition of Arbitrum from One to Nitro. This update means a reduction in fees and an increase in network speed, which, in turn, caused a revival and activation in the use of Arbitrum.

As a result, now Arbitrum is again claiming primacy in the optimistic roll-up space, since the number of transactions on Arbitrum fell after the hype around the Arbitrum Odyssey subsided. This network also claims dominance over TVL (https://www.theblock.co/data/scaling-solutions/scaling-overview/value-locked-of-ethereum-optimistic-rollups) , having currently more locked-in value than all of its competitors combined.

And while there is no date for the resumption of the aforementioned Arbitrum Odyssey, we can prepare for the launch of this event.
