hello oblivion, is anyone out there ??

In a world run by a handful of corporations that want nothing more then for you to believe the blockchain is full of bad people doing bad things. To avoid it as it is dangerous, you’re not safe. It’s a fad, you will lose everything blah blah blah.

This reminds me of when the internet first came around. They would say the same things just long enough to seize control and indoctrinate you into their internet, their products, their services and keep power.

They have controlled our way of living in a centralized way for over 100 years. Our medicine, our school systems, what we eat, watch and even the information we consume.

This probably isn’t new information for you if you found mirror.xyz what may be new to you is blogging (if that’s what we are calling it) looks like on chain.

Everything looks like you expect from traditional blogging with H2 and H3 tags along with a few formatting options I’m sure will expand as the technology does. This is not something you want to decide later to do or not. If you were fortunate enough to be around during the last wealth transfer from the .com boom you would recall basic HTML website killing in display ads or eBay sellers making fortunes from yard sales.

The shear volume of traffic and very little options at the time made for perfect storm in content and monetization. You could put anything up and people would come. I would like to think we became a little smarter over the years and when it comes to blockchain let’s agree to kick it off a little different and keep the big box plays on their own playgrounds.

Back to features or what mirror.xyz calls Blocks (very fitting). Blocks currently include:

Ok, ok back to mirro.xyz features. Now these bad boys are not something you will find on Wordpress or a shopify store. (at least not yet) 2022-12-15.

First one has been labeled Collect Entry and by their own definition “embed a collect button” simple enough let’s have a look.

No personalized options yet but they did pull in my color from setting up my profile. We can talk about that one later. First one is more let’s kick the tires take it for a spin.

After taking a break and having a look what Collect Entry does it is very cleaver allowing users of mirror.xyz to build a database of Collectibles comprised of writings just like this one. Where will they go who knows but I would hit that orange button above just in case.

At this point there is one last realllllllly cool feature that has a lot of potential like a mirror.xyz profile dedicated to sports NFTs embedded.

Like I said cooool. They are using a super simple embed pop. Select your Network plugin your address and token ID and ta da. Comes with a preview so if done incorrectly you know.

Yes, just as much as I believe you should swap your fiat currency for a real commodity like Bitcoin. At the time of writing Bitcoin is on SALE for $17,401.00 USD. Go get some.
