There are no tricks, but in this article, you will find some cool tips that give you a better experience of using the imToken wallet.
Are you a developer and want to test your dapp? Or a user that wants to test a dapp? Or did you create a network and want to add it on imToken?
To add an arbitrary network follow these steps:
Tap on the networks menu, tap on the Settings icon, scroll down and tap on Add network button. Also, you can activate the radio button at the bottom to show test networks:

imToken supports layer2 networks and they are available in the networks list, but if you want to see and manage your assets on zkSync you should do some more steps.
go to My Profile, Explore, and active Layer2 button. That’s it.
but wait…. It’s not selectable. I made mistake :))
On wallet page, select Ethereum network and swipe the blue box on top of the screen to the left:

In order to keep your assets safe, you need to know how much a dapp gets access. Dapps mostly get unlimited access to your assets because of the approval fee you pay. ImToken wallet has a feature that you can customize allowance amount and gas fee. Just follow the steps below:
When approve allowance message appears on your device, select Allowance Details to change the allowance amount. Then tap on the Unlimited and enter the amount you want to transfer, swap, etc.:

To change the gas fee amount tap on Miner Fee and select Customize button and set the gas fee and confirm:

One of the features that ImToken has provided to users, especially traders, is to create a watchlist to monitor prices and market changes. Below are the steps to create a watchlist:
Go to the Market page and select the Markets tab. tap on Add button in the center of the page, search for the token name and tap on the star icon. To see the chart tap on a token in your watchlist.

To add a custom token to the wallet page tap on the plus sign, select the token in the popular list or if it’s not there use the search bar and search its name or contract address:

As the last tip, you will learn how to share a transaction with others. Of course, you can send blockscan link or txn hash as proof but imToken does it with a better interface for you. Just follow the steps below:
Tap on a token on your wallet page. You will see the transactions of that token and can filter them to “in, out, and failed” (no. 2). Also, you can see the transaction history of your wallet on the My Profile page→notifications (no. 3):

Select the one you want to share. Tap on the button in the top right corner of the screen and share it:
