Watching the POWERFUL TRUTH ANGELS podcast about graffiti. Incredible.
They are interviewing GKAE. one of the most famous [Graffiti] writers in art History.
His crew is MSK/AWR, which arguably takes the number one spot in the World.
As I grew up in graffiti Culture and adjacent to it my whole life I began to realize the difficult pain and sacrifice, tradeoff, which stronger subcultures [graffiti] and Artists often make to obtain their research and dedication to Culture. These people sacrifice their entire lives to maintaining the qualia and integrity.
Observing and researching subculture and underground Culture is so much pain.
It is immaculate and painful, what such Artists have dedicated and sacrificed their lives for, often not receiving recognition or “success” in Society. Or even worse, navigating dangerous sacrifices for the pain and wondrous fulfillment of Artistic veneration. Digging deep into the well brings me darkness and pain and the joy of discovering or remembering some of the strongest Art or creative skills in the World.

It's really interesting. The pain in which is traded off for the energy and moment which brings forth Apotheosis of Art. the highest moment. Of creative magic, hidden deep in the fucking city, which can only be under the guise of danger. Real danger. or in some strange, unknown place. of magic, of the Edge of Culture, of things which are so raw we cannot bring them into the larger retail World. This is where creation begins and we are lost in the magic, and only this rawness can create the somnambulist which brings forth New Style.
I have decided to dedicate a percentage of my time to help supporting the Arts and bringing such subcultures into the light with proper presentation and quality. I feel it is a waste to let a lot of this data dissolve into Nothing. From my observation I find that most Artists who are the most creative and visceral are often weak at bringing the cultural data to the larger retail sphere, as they are focusing on other things. It is important that information is given out to help complete the presentation of a product or creative substrate.
I especially find that the data of Art which is hidden in these underground vessels are the most visceral and raw, eclectic, interesting, and thus the most potent and useful to society and the larger market. They hit a dynamic and feeling that is so emotionally abstracted and deep; we can’t understand its heuristic.
