Our news (reporter Wang Bin) in order to further implement the new version of Beijing Municipal Regulations on the administration of domestic waste and improve the accuracy of residents’ independent classification and delivery, Zhang Town, Shunyi District upgraded the original waste classification instructors of each village (residence) to law popularization supervisors through early publicity and recruitment and training guidance in various ways. At present, there are 16 law popularization supervisors in the town, with a coverage rate of 100%.

It is understood that these law popularization supervisors need to wear a work permit before going to work, publicize, guide and supervise residents to carry out waste classification with standardized language, dress and professional ability, make the concept of “green, low-carbon and environmental protection” deeply rooted in the hearts of the people through careful guidance, effectively implement the main responsibility of waste classification, guide and promote residents to gather consensus, form good habits of independent classification, and protect the sustainable development of ecological environment.

Garbage classification has no stop. In the next step, Zhang town will continue to strengthen the supervision and training of law popularization, refine and clarify the responsibilities and work contents of law popularization supervisors, strengthen the cooperation between various departments, and make the law popularization of waste classification effective.
